uploading images from the X-T1 on the go

This weekend I am in London for a few days in the capital with my family. I decided to leave my laptop at home but I forgot that I use the computer to update this blog. However this did give me the ideal opportunity to try the X-T1's Wi-Fi capabilities by transferring images taken at the Harry Potter Studio Tour to my Google Nexus 7 tablet and upload to the blog from there.

Only jpeg images can be transferred, but I have already proven that the jpeg output from the Fuji is excellent and I always shoot RAW + JPEG.  I have a copy of Snapspeed on the tablet, so I made some minor adjustments before uploading these images to the blog.

The process is a little more long winded than using the laptop, and I have less control, but the system does work and it means I can travel lighter than normal. Which for my precious family time is a good thing.

More images from the Harry Potter Tour to follow next week.
