Unveiling the New Lotus LMP1 Car at Le Mans
This morning Lotus unveiled their new LMP1-L challenger which is scheduled to race at the next FIA World Endurance Championship race at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas in September.
The car, which had been due to race at the opening WEC round at Silverstone, had been delayed because a new power plant had to be fitted. This meant some design changes and so the Lotus P1/01 was only unveiled to the media and the public at the 24 Hours of Le Mans today.
The Lotus will now go to Spain for testing with Christian Albers, Christophe Bouchut and Pierre Kaffer announced as the three drivers due to drive the new Lotus.
Here are some of the shots from this morning's launch taken on the X-T1 fitted with the Fujinon XF10-24mm f4 and the X-Pro1 fitted with the XF35mm f1.4.
