REVIEW: Race Press Conference at Spa - More use of the X-T1 Video

On Saturday I got used the video function on the X-T1 to record post race press conference at the end of the FIA World Endurance Championship event at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Loic Duval - Audi - Taken on the X-Pro1 + 35mm f1.4 lens
The X-T1 was fitted with the Fujinon 18mm f2R lens and I used the Nikon ME1 external microphone which was fitted to the hotshoe on the camera.  I then placed the X-T1 on a Manfrotto tripod to hold everything steady.

I am getting used to working with video on the X-T1 and it is a very capable piece of equipment for producing HD videos.  The video below was shot in 720P 30fps rather than 1080P 30fps because full HD videos on the X-T1 are only 10 minutes, while in 720P the maximum length is 28 minutes.  Most post race press conferences exceed 10 minutes.

The press conference video was edited and then placed on the Daily Motion page for FIAWEC.  Here is the video -
