On the Grid at Silverstone
After a few days of sunshine at Silverstone, race day dawned overcast with a threat of rain but the typically fickle English weather certainly didn't dampen the spirits of the thousands of fans who flocked to Silverstone to watch the opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
I was on the grid in my capacity as the FIA Media Delegate and also as escort for the beautiful Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy.
I managed to get some shots on my Fujifilm X-T1 and X-Pro1 of the build up to the six hour race that saw a 1-2 for Toyota, with Anthony Davidson, Nicolas Lapierre and Sebastien Buemi adding their names onto the roll of honour on the base of the Tourist Trophy.
