Art in Close Up in Marseilles

The Musee des civilisations de l'Europe et de la Mediterranee at the end of the harbour in Marseilles has lots of sculptures and other art pieces in the Mediterranean garden of Fort Saint-Jean.  Visitors can marvel at the riches of the MuCEM' collections of popular and folk art.

When we visited on Sunday 30 March I decided to use the 55-200mm lens on my Fuji X-Pro1 to zoom in on some of the structures.  Here are some of the results.
