Postcard from the Nurburgring

This weekend I am at the Nurburgring for Round 4 of the FIA World Endurance Championship.  Yesterday was the first day of track action with two 90-minute Free Practice sessions.

I went trackside in my capacity as the FIA Media Delegate to check on the restricted areas (Red Zones) around the track and to make sure the photographers were observing the safety rules I had given them earlier in the day at the Photographers Safety Briefing.

I also took the Fujifilm X-T2 and X-Pro2 along with the XF100-400mm f4.5/5.6, the XF50-140mm f2.8, XF16-55mm f2.8 and the XF10-24mm f4.  Here are some of the images I shot trackside.
