The 5-Minute Portrait of Hans Joachim Stuck

Born on New Years Day in 1951 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, Hans Joachim Stuck is a former racing driver who is one of the sports 'greats'.

The son of legendary Hans "King of the Mountains' Stuck, Hans Joachim competed in Formula One between 1974 and 1979 and then went on to greater success by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice overall in 1986 and 1987 and also took a GT1 class win in 1996, all driving for Porsche.

Since 2012 he has been the president of the German Motorsport Association (DMSB).

At Spa-Francorchamps I was asked to photograph Herr Stuck for an interview, which I had five minutes to get the shots required.  I did this with the Fujifilm X-T1 fitted with the XF56mm f1.2 and the X-Pro2 fitted with the XF16-55mm f2.8.

Here are the results of this five minute portrait.
