Nurburgring Panorama

If you read this blog on a regular basis you will be aware that I love the 12:5 panoramic format.  For motorsport I tend to shooting full frame images with this in mind so I can crop in post production or I shoot images using the X-T1 / X-T2s panoramic mode in camera.  However this isn't possible for action shots so all of the images here were shot and then cropped in post production.

These were shot at the Nurburgring last weekend with some during Free Practice on Friday and some on Sunday at the start of the 6 Hours of Nurburgring, round 4 of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The race was eventually won by the no1 Porsche of Mark Webber, Brandon Hartley and Timo Bernhard.

The images were either shot on the Fujifilm X-T2 and XF50-140mm f2.8 + 1.4x converter or the XF100-400mm f4.5/5.6 or the Fujifilm X-Pro2 + XF10-24mm or XF16-55mm f2.8.
