This was the scene on Tyningham beach a few days ago with the sun coming through the clouds to light Bass Rock beautifully and producing some fantastic colours along the shoreline at Tyningham as the waves crashed onto the beach.
During the summer months Bass Rock is white as there are 140,000 Gannets nesting on the cliffs but now they have left the island has returned to a more normal brown colour.
The image was taken on a Fujifilm X-Pro1 and 60mm f2.4 macro lens. The exposure was 1/640 @ f11 - ISO400
