Eilean Donan Castle

On the road to the Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful castles in the world and the second most photographed castle in Scotland (after Edinburgh Castle).  Eilean Donan is situated at the the strategic junction of three lochs, situated on a small island on Loch Duich.

We stopped on our way to Skye to take some photographs and the first shot was taken using a Lee 'Big Stoppa' filter to give a long exposure to blur the sky and the water on the loch.
