4 Hours of Le Castellet

Today the next round of the 2015 European Le Mans Series gets underway at the Circuit Paul Ricard in the South of France.  The two day event is the fourth on the five race calendar and is the championship's second visit to Le Castellet as the circuit hosted the 2-day pre season test back in March.

Twenty-seven cars will line up for tomorrow's race and today there are two 90-minute free practice sessions for all competitors, starting with the first session at 10h00 (Central European Time) or 09h00 BST.

The shot at the top of this page shows the marker at the start of the pitlane, with the reverse of the board showing the 60kph speed limit that the drivers have to observe while travelling in the pitlane.  This image was taken on the Fujifilm X-T1 with the XF50-140mm f2.8
