The View from the Eiffel Tower

Yesterday evening we joined the crowds at the base of the Eiffel Tower to watch the lights on the famous monument switch on.  We had also pre booked some tickets to go up to the second stage to get some great views of Paris at night.

While I have visited the Eiffel Tower on many occasions over the past few years during my many business trips to the French capital, I haven't been up the tower since 1978 when I visited Paris with my school.  So during this family trip we decided to make this part of our holiday.

These images are straight off the Fujifilm X-T1 transferred to my iPad using the WiFi App.
