Tyningham Fungi

While walking down to the beach at Ravenheugh Sands I spotted some old trees with some unusual fungi growing from the trunk.  Using the 18mm f2 and 55-200 f3.5/f4.8 lenses on the Fuji X-Pro1 I set about photographing them.

The 18mm is not an ideal macro lens but switching the X-Pro1 to macro mode in the menu I was able to focus close enough to capture the first three images below while the other two below that were shot on the 55-200mm Fujinon.

All images taken on a Fujifilm X-Pro1 + Fujinon 55-200mm f3.5/f4.8R OIS or Fujinon 18mm f2R lenses
