The Old and The New in Paris

Continuing my whistle stop tour of Paris on my many trips to the City of Light, I had to take a detour past the Louvre to catch the Metro to the office.  I wasn't going to take any images around the Lourve as I intend to go back on my next trip to Paris to spend some time there.

BUT I spotted this shot as the low sun hit the top of the pyramid structure in the centre of the courtyard.  The symmetry between the modern and the old part of the Lourve caught my eye and this is the resulting image.
