Fujifilm X Series 5th Anniversary book 'Getting Back to Photography'

Yesterday I have received a very special present in the post from Fujifilm. One of my images has been included in the new Fujifilm X Series 5th Anniversary book 'Getting Back to Photography' across two pages.

This book includes photographs from some of the most talented photographers around the world including Matt Hart, Damien Lovegrove, Dave Kai-Piper, Paul Sanders and Dirk Bogaerts amongst many others. It also includes a special intro by David Allan Harvey, the Magnum Photographer who I had the privilege of sharing a room backstage at the press conference in Tokyo in January.

The image was taken on the Fujifilm X-Pro2 + XF100-400mm f4.5/5.6 lens, one the first shots taken with this combination of camera and lens worldwide because I was one of the few X Photographers to have the prototypes of both.

The shots was taken at Belhaven Bay and shows local kayaker Kevin Locke in action.

I don't know if these limited edition books will be available to the general public but I will certainly treasure my copy. Thanks to Takashi Ueno, Toshi Iida, Kunio Ao, Theo Georghiades, Marc Horner, Jeannie Corby and everyone else at Fujifilm both here in the UK and in Japan.

Here's to the next 5 years of a great camera system and I am proud to be a small part of the Fujifilm story.
