XT1 Timelapse Video: Dunbar Harbour

Continuing the Timelapse project I am working on I headed down to the harbour in Dunbar to capture some images using the 'Interval Timer Shooting' feature on the Fujifilm X-T1.  I decided to move around the harbour and use different lenses of varying focal lengths to capture the various aspects of the harbour.

I also tried panning the camera on the Manfrotto tripod and you can see this in the final video but I need to practice this aspect as the result is far from perfect.  I was shooting three frames and then moving the camera slightly, shooting three frames and then moving it again.  This technique has resulted in a very jerky movement and I will look at this again on my next timelapse video from Dunbar.

The video is made up of 744 separate frames shot at 5 second intervals.  The final video was put together in Windows Live Movie Maker with each frame given a time of 0.1 seconds.  The final video is 87 seconds long (with front and end credits).

Here is the video -

The music is rights free and was downloaded from www.freemusicarchive.org.  The track is Squinting at the Sun by Lee Rosevere.

I also shot some images on the X-Pro1 to go with this blog.

The next Timelapse subject will be East Beach.
