X-T1 Timelapse Video: Dancing Clouds over Lake Como

With seven days of images from our trip to Lake Como to sort through and edit I decided to turn my attention first to the timelapse sequences I shot of the cloud formations over the mountains surrounding the lake.

The clouds were moving fairly quickly as the weather patterns were very changeable during the first part of the week.  This resulted in some heavy rainfall but the aftermath meant that the clouds started to break up in the updrafts caused by the mountain passes and the water of Lake Como.

Over 1100 images were shot over a two hour period on the X-T1 to complete the 2-minute video.  The three sequences were put together to show how the clouds look like they are performing a highly complicated dance routine.
