Lifeboat Day in Dunbar


Today was the Lifeboat Day in Dunbar and thousands of people turned out to support the RNLI.  
The day kicked off with a parade through the town and down to the harbour and then the festivities began with demonstrations, music and food.

I also had the opportunity to climb to the top of Dunbar Castle, which is normally out of bounds to the general public.  I used the high vantage point to take some panoramic images of Dunbar and also grab some shots of the Kittiwake colony that nest in the castle walls, many of the nest now with chicks.
