Patterns on the Beach

The geology on the East Lothian coast near Dunbar is amazing.  On one of our walks near East Beach in the town I decided to concentrate on highlighting the patterns and colours in the rocks on the shoreline.


The wave action and the movement of the pebbles against the base rock have caused erosion that have developed some amazing shapes and textures and revealed the different layers in the rock face.
