Loony Dook 2015

On New Years Day the annual 'Loony Dook' took place from East Beach in Dunbar where hundreds of hardy souls brave the wintery North Sea to raise money for charity, which this year is fue Sue Ryder.

Now I have to be honest I am not one of those hardy souls, I wouldn't even brave the waters off the East Lothian coast in August in a wet suit, let alone in the depths of winter with no protective clothing.  However we did go along to support those whose efforts were raising money for a good cause.

All images were taken on the Fujifilm X-T1 with a 55-200mm lens or the Fujifilm X-Pro1 + 10-24mm ultra wide zoom.

Here are some pictures from yesterday's event.
