The ruins of Tantallon Castle sit on the cliff top overlooking the Firth of Forth. Once the stronghold of the Clan Douglas, Tantallon still holds a prominent position on the East Lothian coast and it is easy to see why the castle was built here at the mouth of the Firth of Forth.
