Winter in the Lammermuir Hills

This morning I decided to go up into the Lammermuir Hills to revisit one of the places I discovered this summer (HERE).  With some snow on the ground I wanted to get some shots of the burn before the next bout of bad weather swept through Scotland.

The wind and the rain were already driving hard across the hills but I headed up the track.  I followed the burn and came across a place where two streams met and this provided me with the focal point I desired.  The rain was proving troublesome as the Lee grad filter had to be wiped clean between each shot.

This image was taken on the Fujifilm X-T1 and the XF10-24mm f4. The image was converted into monochrome in NIK Silver EFex Pro2 software in post production.
