More From Le Pesage at Le Mans

Image
Today I have spent the day working at the circuit ahead of the start of track action tomorrow, which will see cars on the 13.6km right up until midnight. Yesterday was the final day of scrutineering in the centre of Le Mans and I have edited some of my images from the event. The images were taken on the GFX50S with a GF32-64mm f4 lens or an X-T2 with a XF10-24mm f4 or XF50-140mm f2.8.  I tried to capture the festival atmosphere in the warm French summer sunshine in the Place de la Republique. Le Mans Day One

Image
Yesterday was the first day of the week long build up to the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans with thousands of fans packing the Place du la Republique for the scrutineering and administration checks.  The teams push their cars through the technical checks while the drivers take part in media interviews, have their helmets and overalls checked before heading to the main stage for interviews in front of the fans. Today scrutineering continues for the rest of the entries for the 90th anniversary 24 Heures du Mans which begins on Saturday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE SUPPORT THIS BLOG BY CLICKING THE NEW GOOGLE ADVERTS It doesn't cost you anything to click on an advert but we get a small fee for every click thru from Google and this helps support this blog - thank you for helping ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------...
