CAPTURE NEW HORIZONS

Lake Como is full of beautiful churches with each town and village boasting at least two or three.  There were also some isolated churches on the hillsides above the lake but none were as remote as this little church perched on the side of the mountain above Griante. Looking from below on the lake from the hire boat there was no visible road up to the church and it appeared the only way up was to climb.  We didn't attempt this and viewed the beautiful building from below. For the past week I have been enjoying some time in an apartment near Menaggio on the west bank of Lake Como for a much needed family holiday. Of course I brought some camera gear to record the sights in this beautiful part of Italy but decided to keep the camera equipment to a minimum for this family break. I packed the following - Fuji X-T1 Fuji X100 10-24mm 18mm 35mm 55-200mm Manfrotto travel tripod Lee filters Polariser filter Spare batteries and memory cards I also decided to leave the laptop at home and not bother with the internet for one week.
